Summary

Go 1.27.3 fixes GO-2026-6809 in crypto/x509 (distrust of compromised intermediate certificates). govulncheck reached it through the self-update path, so every gate failed on 1.27.2.

  • go.mod moves to go 1.27.3.
  • The pinned golang:1.27-trixie image in ci.yml and drift.yml moves to the digest that ships 1.27.3.

./scripts/gate.sh passes on this tree, govulncheck included, and the pinned image reports go1.27.3.
