Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
What to change
These records carry their own history: "Amended " lines, dated amendment markers, status labels such as FIXED, SHIPPED, or ADDRESSED, or text that tells how a rule changed. Git holds that history. Rewrite each record so that it states only the rule in force, and delete the history lines.
0001, 0006, 0007, 0008, 0009, 0010, 0013, 0015, 0016, 0019, 0021, 0025, 0027, 0028, 0032.
In two of them the history lines only repeat other records. 0001 (L141-152) repeats rules that 0008 and 0015 hold, and 0008 (L174-179) repeats a rule that 0015 holds. Delete those lines.
Acceptance
adr checkpasses.Done in #667: each "Amended" block and status label is folded into its record's body as the current rule. Every record was compared with its previous text for a change of meaning.
